Moms RUN This Town (MRTT) is a ‘moms only’ running club started by moms…. for moms… to support moms in their running endeavors. MRTT was originated back in Dec 2010 and is quickly approaching 1,000 chapters throughout the world. Muskegon's chapter of MRTT has been active since March 2012.
Our hope is that we can provide a fun club for moms to get together, run/walk/jog and socialize. We want to provide an online community built of moms who will help answer running questions, encourage each other, train with each other and share their personal running experiences. Moms RUN This Town will bring you training tips, expert advice, fun giveaways, product reviews, and more. While MRTT was initially started to support moms, many women without children have found many friends and running partners within MRTT. We encourage all women to join, whether or not you have children!
Moms of ANY skill level are welcome – we don’t claim to be the ‘fastest’ group of moms – just the ‘friendliest’. Whether you are a walker hoping to start training for your first 5k or an experienced runner training for a marathon – we would love to have you as part of our community.
